How the discount calculator works
Enter the original price and the discount percent — or tap a quick preset — and the calculator shows the sale price plus exactly how much you save. A 1,200 item at 25% off costs 900, saving you 300.
savings = price × (discount ÷ 100) · sale price = price − savings
Tax is not included: apply any sales tax to the sale price afterwards. For stacked offers (20% off, then an extra 10%), apply them one after another — that is not the same as 30% off.

What is the discount formula?
Multiply the price by the discount divided by 100 to get your savings, then subtract the savings from the price: sale price = price − price × (discount ÷ 100).
Can the discount be more than 100%?
No — the tool only accepts 0 to 100%. A discount above 100% would make the price negative, which isn’t a real sale price.
Does the result include tax?
No. The calculator works on the pre-tax price. If tax applies, add it to the sale price the tool gives you.
How do stacked discounts work?
Apply them in sequence to the running price: 20% off then 10% off a 1,000 item gives 720, not 700. Each discount applies to the already-reduced price.
